Every association with Swami is beautiful. He comes to us as Mother, Father, Friend, Guide, and unfailing refuge. Yet, on Guru Poornima, we cherish most deeply our relationship with Him as the Guru. Bhagawan is the Jagadguru who transforms us through the timeless path of love and service, presenting eternal truths in a form the modern mind can understand and practise.
Among His precious teachings is the simple mantra, “Devudu Unnadu”, God is. God is not merely of the past or the future; He is present here and now, within us and around us. Living with this conviction gives rise to Daiva Preethi, love for God; Paapa Bheethi, fear of sin; and Sangha Neethi, morality in society. The articles in this Guru Poornima issue of Vidyullekha reflect this truth through remembrance, values, service, and purposeful action.
We begin with Bhagawan Uvacha – the word of God. Through the lives of noble mothers and great men, Bhagawan reminds us that good thoughts and sacred values must be sown early. He speaks of dharma, the three Ds of Devotion, Duty, and Discipline, and the strength within each of us. Above all comes His comforting assurance: “I am always guiding you.”
Our Cover Story traces the journey of Samarpan, born from the yearning of alumni to remain connected with Bhagawan after the withdrawal of His physical form. Through listening to His teachings and the experiences of devotees, Samarpan has helped many discover that His presence is not a memory of the past, but a living reality.
The From My Diary column takes us on a journey with Bhagawan to the splendorous Kashmir valley. In the lap of nature we experience Bhagawan’s love as both the Supreme Divine and the loving mother. The account reminds us that proximity to Him must deepen into gratitude, discipline, and constant remembrance.
Our Alumni Profiles reveal how Bhagawan’s education continues to guide life beyond the campus. Brother Nikhil Kaushik reflects on empathy, excellence, humility, and the value of making oneself available for His work. Sister Rajeshwari Natarajan shares how. Service, silence, self-reliance, and inner balance continue to guide her as a professional, leader, and mother. Their journeys remind us that being a Swami’s student is both a blessing and a lifelong responsibility.
In Love in Action, Brother Amar Vivek shares an inspiring life offered to God through education, healthcare, skill development, legal service, and blood donation. His experiences affirm that when one steps forward with sincerity, the Divine provides direction and strength. Seva then becomes not an occasional activity, but a way of life.
We conclude with SSSRIF Updates, which demonstrate how Bhagawan’s ideal of “Education for Life” finds expression through research, innovation, collaboration, and social impact. Initiatives such as the BioNEST Incubator, industry-academia partnerships, and SparkLab 3.0 show how knowledge can become an instrument of service and nation-building.
A single thread unites this issue: the Guru’s message must move from listening to remembrance, from remembrance to transformation, and from transformation to service. On this sacred Guru Poornima, may we renew our faith in Bhagawan’s assurance: Devudu Unnadu, God is. May our thoughts reflect His purity, our words carry His love, and our hands remain engaged in His work.
